Oktober 17th, 2010. Take-off with a nice view over Amsterdam. More east, near Rhenen, the three large rivers of the Netherlands are quite close to each other. From the top: Maas, Waal and Rhine. From Napels we travel by mini-bus to Amalfi. During the trip there is a great view at the Vesuvius. Our first view of the South coast of the Sorrentina peninsula Amalfi, where we'll stay for two nights, in a hotel right along the beach. The hotel is quite nice at the inside. View from our balcony And the sight to the town square The tower of the Cathedral Piazza del Duoma with the stairs to the Cathedral The arches remind me of the Moorish architecture of Cordoba Some saint The town is full of tunnels, arches and especially stairs. Specialty of the region: Limoncello, a liquor made from lemons. Quite nice! Peppers seem to have some special powers here. One of those typical roads, with steep stairs
